6. Audience measurement using anonymised data

The principle of anonymising data

Certain data relating to the User's hardware and software, which are not of a nature to identify the User, are collected when the User visits the public site.

The sole purpose of this data collection is to obtain visitor statistics (browser type, resolution, approximate location, etc.) in order to provide users with the best possible service.

Collection of IP address

Under no circumstances is the User's full IP address kept, but only part of the IP address - so that it is not possible to identify a User - is kept in order to obtain overall statistics.

Storage and hosting

The data collected is stored and hosted in Europe in a solution provided by a specialised subcontractor.

7. Protection of personal data

The Publisher is responsible for the processing of personal data collected via this site and for the data disseminated via this site.

The Publisher undertakes to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR") and the legal and regulatory provisions applicable in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with regard to data protection.

7.1. Special provisions concerning the protection of minors

Photographs of minors collected directly by the Editor in the course of its work (e.g. during an event) may be published not only on this site but also in the Editor's other media.

Legal basis and purposes of processing

As the photographs are always taken at official events related to the Craft Industry, the Publisher ensures that this distribution is always compatible with the purpose for which the data was collected.

The legal basis for this processing is therefore identical to that for the collection of the data concerned, and it always falls within the context of the public interest mission entrusted to the Publisher (article 6.1 e) of the RGPD).

Prior information

The Publisher will systematically provide written and verbal information before photographs are taken, not only about the purposes of the processing, but also about the right to object to being photographed.

Exemption from systematic prior notification of parents

The prior information of each parent shall not be provided where the provision of such information would require disproportionate efforts. This exemption is provided for in Article 14(5)b) of the GDPR. In this case, the Publisher shall ensure that appropriate measures are put in place to protect the rights of minors, namely written and oral information, in simple terms, about the purposes of the processing and their right to object.

7.2. Rights of the data subject

As a legal entity governed by public law, the Publisher has appointed a Data Protection Officer (or: "DPO") who ensures, on a daily basis, strict compliance with the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of their personal data. The DPO can be contacted by e-mail at the following address: https://info@monjardin.lu/

Individuals whose data is processed have the rights recognised by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and in particular the rights of access, rectification and erasure of their personal data, and the right to restrict processing.

Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with the National Commission for Data Protection (CNPD) if they feel that their data has been breached (https://www.cnpd.lu)./.

The rights of use implicitly or explicitly granted to you in no way constitute a transfer of rights, ownership or other relating to this site.

9. Changes to the terms and conditions of use

These general terms and conditions of use may be amended or supplemented at any time, without prior notice, in line with changes made to this site, changes in legislation or for any other reason deemed necessary.
